Charming Getaway!

I found the breakfast service very nice. A friendly young lady managed the mornings and my check-in, too. The bed provided great comfort, so I slept well. The location was peaceful and dogs were welcome, a nice touch.

The narrow roads to town made dinner a bit of a journey.

the location was good.

the first night, a septic tank alarm went off from 10pm until 8am. i tried to call the whatsapp number for help, but there was no immediate response. the alarm went off again the second evening and early the final morning.

The breakfast was good, a solid start to the day.

The banging noise from the boiler was not ideal, especially since it was right next to the single bedroom. I had to change rooms after the first night. the drive into the nearest town was quite long, and the narrow roads did not help.

The septic tank alarm was quite disruptive. it went off from 10pm until 8am the first night and disturbed my sleep. the staff response was slow. I discovered a different emergency number only the next morning. i also paid extra for a terrace room though it was not usable with the constant alarm sound.

I was charmed by the peaceful location and the laid-back atmosphere. Dogs were welcome. the breakfast was hearty and delicious i found the rooms to be spotlessly clean. i slept well the bed was large and comfortable in a great sized room.

There was no phone signal available. the wifi connection was acceptable.

The hotel offers views of the valley. i enjoyed sitting in the conservatory. This allowed me to enjoy the view outside with a scone, jam and cream. there is an amazing conservatory.

the breakfast was amazing!!! it was fresh and tasty. quality products were used. the staff were also lovely and friendly.

the only refreshment available throughout the day was warm water from the bathroom tap. nowhere was available to wash our mugs. the bins were not emptied .
