Mixed Feelings About This Place
damp smellcarpet stains
The room felt pretty stuffy and had a noticeable damp smell which wasn't great. The air conditioning struggled to cool things down despite my fiddling with the settings and it made a racket every few minutes. I also noticed some pretty big stains on the carpet. It looked like there had been a flood at some point. No coffee in the room either. Come on.

Excellent Location and Comfortable Room

We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast that featured a great range of choices. I was able to leave my bag both before check-in and after check-out, very convenient. The location is amazing, very central for everything. The reception staff was cute.
The room was a bit noisy at night. I could hear sounds like people hosing down the walkway and delivering supplies early in the morning.

The room was spacious and traditionally decorated, as befits the old building. It also featured thick stone walls, and that ensured a pleasant stay. High-quality toiletries, slippers, and bathrobes were available for our use.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Receptionists and servers were always in good spirits and ready to assist with everything. The restaurant has a lovely garden and a comfortable interior space.
