Really good Experience
convenient location early check-in clean room comfortable bed
I was grateful for the convenient location, directly across from the sky bus stop at southern cross station. This detail greatly simplified my travel. The early check-in was a definite plus. It allowed me to settle in and make the most of my day. I found the room well kept and clean, which definitely contributed to a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable.
I noticed some occasional thumping noises from the walls. This occurred sporadically, a minor distraction.

The room overlooked the station. It was clean and well laid out. A mini espresso coffee machine was in the room. The bed was beautifully made and felt carefully serviced. There was definitely great attention to detail (i noticed it immediately).
The shower caused the bathroom to flood. The casting for showing movies was highly unreliable. The breakfast was awful and took place in a utilitarian conference room (not very romantic).

totally awesome stay!
quiet room easy check-in helpful staff great location
this hotel is so great! i was close to southern cross station. the room i got was quiet. i really liked that. checking in and out was easy too. the people working there helped me a lot!
the room got a little stuffy at night i think. i woke up sneezing one morning. i saw a lot of dust on the wall near my head. maybe they could clean that better.

The location was amazing! I traveled by public transport, and Southern Cross Station was directly across the street. The corner plaza room I occupied for several nights had excellent appointments. It was very comfortable, with a fantastic view over the area.
The room had an adjoining door! though it was locked, it didn't give much privacy being a solo traveler.

my room was lovely with comfortable bedding, and i slept soundly. the decor was really nice, and everything looked clean. the staff were also super friendly and very helpful whenever i needed assistance.
the air conditioning was a little noisy, but it did keep the room cool.

poor housekeeping rate guarantee
the hotel was close to the southern cross station which was good.
the housekeeping was quite poor i returned at 9pm to find my room hadn't been serviced this wasn't mentioned at check-in and i felt ignored i also challenged the best rate guarantee as i found a cheaper rate on a third-party website but they didn't honor it.

small cups limited selection unhygienic staff
I found a couple of issues that detracted from the experience. the in-room coffee and tea cups are unreasonably small, requiring frequent refills. the breakfast buffet lacked variety. I noticed the same limited selection throughout my stay. i also observed a staff member clearing her throat without covering her mouth near guests. This was unprofessional and unhygienic.
