fantastic stay, GREAT location!

the receptionist offered local advice about the lake area. it was AMAZING. breakfast had a varied choice and was very filling. the free parking on the hotel was a BONUS.

Acceptable stay with some issues
musty basementbad mattress
I was given a basement room. It felt musty. The bathroom window faced a dirty light well. I noticed dead insects outside the windowsill above the bed. The mattress smelled bad during the night. I was disappointed because of the awards displayed at reception.

not quite as good as expected

the room was small, i think. i had a economy double room, it felt more like a single. there wasn't much space for luggage, and i keep tripping over my suitcase. also, i wasnt thrilled there wasnt tea in the room and you have to buy a 'breakfast box'.

The location was good. It was near the lake. The staff was polite and cute. They explained breakfast options to us.
The room was small. It felt too cramped for two people. There was no tea in the room. The coffee available was instant.
