The staff was friendly. the setting overlooking a pond was quite lovely. It served as our breakfast spot (i enjoyed the tranquility!). free bicycle hire was very useful, great to explore around. our room was clean and the air conditioning worked well.
the wi-fi was a bit spotty. water pressure was weak (i was a little bummed). there was only one towel provided per person per day.

i received a free upgrade to a superior twin room. the bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. the bathroom had a very good shower, it was great. breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options.
Sound proofing between rooms was not ideal. I could hear some noise from next door.

The noise was quite bad. I could hear every word from the room next door. there was a very noisy bar adjacent to the hotel. These factors made it hard to sleep at night, and I was definitely annoyed.
