small tv black flies
The location was acceptable for exploring the surrounding area.
I found the room to be excessively warm, resulting in a very restless night. The windows did open, BUT this led to an invasion of tiny black flies-lovely. The TV was also ridiculously small with subpar sound quality.

hot room black flies
The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful (I appreciate that).
The room was too hot. I couldn't sleep well, even with the windows open. Small black flies then came into the room.

countryside escape

quick check-in traditional furniture back hotel parking
the check-in process was quick and efficient. the hotel had a modern feel mixed with traditional furniture, which i appreciated! our bedroom was spacious and the entire hotel seemed super clean. parking at the back of the hotel was available, very convenient.
The ensuite lacked a few hooks or rails. More places to hang towels would definitely improve convenience.
Dining
9/10
i found the meals were nicely cooked. they were presented well, and good choices were available. there were also well-kept yorkshire real ales at the bar so that was great.
Facilities
