convenient stay with friendly staff
helpful staff convenient parking central location spacious room
i found the staff helpful and the parking convenient. the location in the village was beneficial for exploring local attractions. the room was spacious and suited my needs well i found the bed comfortable after a long day.
the outside appearance of the building looked a little worn.

the hotel is centrally located allowing easy access to local shops and the surrounding areas for day trips the free parking on site was a definite advantage. the surrounding village was nice for a stroll.

the reception staff were cute and provided quick assistance with check-in. staff were available to provide directions and information about local attractions and amenities. i felt that all staff members were friendly and efficient.

while the hotel did not have a full restaurant it offered a bar with a selection of beverages. i was able to order takeaway from a nearby hotel and eat it in the bar area. the bar staff were accommodating and kept the area clean.

the hotel offered free wifi and i found it reliable throughout my stay. the rooms had basic amenities and a key was available to let myself in after hours after attending a function nearby. i considered the facilities adequate.

market noise car park information
The hotel did not inform me about the market days. i parked in the market place and workers erecting stalls woke me at 6 am. The market surrounded my car. it took me 30 minutes to get my car out so i was late for an important meeting. the hotel has its own car park but they provided no information about it, not in the room or at reception. this was disappointing.

The room was very clean. I found the staff to be helpful. I found free private parking and great road links nearby!
The room had a similar scent. I noted the bathroom fittings could use an upgrade? The TV signal was hit and miss.

missing lock fire regulations
the room had everything needed for a comfortable night. it was also very clean.
the rooms not having locks was concerning for me as a solo female traveler. i had to move the furniture against the door to feel safer. the hotel stated it was to meet fire regulations, but i have never stayed in a hotel with no locks.

fantastic stay!
bigger room helpful staff comfy beds quiet environment
i got an upgrade to a bigger room and it was worth it. the staff were helpful and very cute! parking was good, and finding the place was easy. the comfy beds were a bonus, it was so quiet, i couldn't hear other people!
I think they could try harder with the reception area, it felt a bit dreary. It has great potential with its high ceilings!

the bar offered bateman's beers, that was so cool. there are many dining options within walking distance, that's very handy! shops are close by too, if you want to get a snack.

Wonderful Stay at a Charming Hotel
friendly staff clean room
The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was very clean with soap, shower gel, and shampoo available. I appreciated the comfy bed (I slept like a log!). The hotel also accommodated my dog, and the room remained fresh .
The radiator in the bathroom had some dust, and the TV aerial also had dust. I had to adjust the aerial to improve the reception when changing channels.

Though the hotel does not offer food service, they provided plates and cutlery. I was able to bring in food from a nearby takeaway and eat in the bar area. The hotel bar operated fully, convenient.

The hotel's location proved convenient for my travel plans. It was easy to access nearby points of interest. I also found a nice café just around the corner to have breakfast.
