My room was adequately sized and very clean. The hotel provided a complimentary breakfast daily. I found the staff were helpful, promptly addressing my inquiries and requests .
The immediate surrounding area showed signs of urban decay.

the hotel was clean and spacious. i found the beds and pillows to be quite comfortable. the hotel provided free water, a useful amenity. the subway was also close, a short ride to downtown.
the refrigerator was not plugged in. it did not get cold even after i plugged it in. the sink also kept getting clogged even after maintenance addressed it. the toilet seat felt loose to me.

The staff were friendly and helpful. That met my expectations.
I was disappointed with the neighborhood. i felt uneasy walking around at night because there were people smoking drugs and acting intimidating. the hotel charged my card after i checked out. That was unexpected and frustrating, especially since there had been previous issues .
