the lodge was spacious. it had two ensuite bedrooms. the location was quiet and secluded near the beach. the beach is shingle, but good for walking.
the lodge needed a deep clean. i noticed mould on the curtains. some curtain rings were broken causing them to hang improperly. there were large stains on the fabric blinds.

The lodge was spacious and very well equipped for a comfortable stay. The kitchen contained all necessary appliances. The large decking area was a notable feature. I appreciated the proximity to the beach, accessible via a lovely woodland walk. It took less than ten minutes to reach it.
The absence of an on-site restaurant did cause some inconvenience, as it required alternative dining arrangements. This information would have been helpful to know beforehand.

woodland walkshot tubdog explorationquick resolution
the woodland walks access through the tree house gates was a nice touch. this allowed my dog to explore safely. the staff resolved hot tub issues quickly upon arrival.
the restaurant closed completely. i wish i knew that before arrival. it did not ruin my stay though.

my Alverstone lodge included three bathrooms and a thoughtful layout. i noticed modern fittings throughout the lodge. it was a spacious space overall and very neat.

this location offers peaceful area and helpful staff members. a very friendly man helped me with keys and info. the retreat is near a tesco express. the walk down to the beach is lovely.

the staff provided a warm welcome upon my arrival. they were helpful and pleasant on arrival and departure. management was caring, which i find important. they booked a last minute break for my family.
