The host was friendly. The hotel was nice and neat in a quiet, rural setting. It was still close enough to walk into Lyme Regis. The bed was comfortable and the room had a great selection of breakfast items. It was REALLY appreciated.
The road to the b&b was narrow. It was close to flooding on my visit. The owner's dog was lying on the seat in the hallway on arrival. I didn't LIKE that. I had to take my shoes off in the hall while sitting alongside the dog.

i found a really lovely selection of teas (i am a tea lover!). the continental breakfast was generous. the location is beautiful and peaceful.
the roads nearby are very narrow. i had to remove my shoes to enter. the staircases to the room are steep.
