charming village stay
friendly staffnice foodlack of bins
the staff was very friendly. a young man booked me in and advised me well on surrounding areas, suggesting a visit to ellesmere. the food was very nice and i especially enjoyed the bootiful breakfast.
i noticed a lack of bins in the carpark area for dog waste. some people had left random poo bags on the floor near their cars. it would be helpful to have designated bins for this purpose.

Fantastic Stay Before Surgery
amazing staffcastle viewcheckout inconvenience
The location was perfect. I was having surgery the next day at the orthopaedic hospital, and the staff was amazing.. They were very attentive to my needs. The room had a lovely view of the castle ruins across the road.
When I tried to check out, there was no one around in the morning. I needed to leave by 7:30 AM for an important appointment, but I could not find anyone to assist me. It was inconvenient.

the location was great i think. it was near a castle, i could walk there. the staff was friendly, especially the young man at check-in, he was helpful. the food tasted good, i tried the breakfast.
