Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service

The executive room provided ample space. Two chairs were available. The bed offered a comfortable sleep, and I found the shower quite decent. The location proved very convenient. It's central. The staff was friendly. I received a very warm welcome.
The bar was closed one night. I had hoped to enjoy a drink there after dinner

The room was certainly not soundproofed. i could hear every conversation in the hallway, it was like they were right next to me. This made it hard to relax. also, the promised toiletries were minimal, just a small bar of soap. i expected more from a hotel in this price range given there wasn't even shampoo or shower gel available, guess i should have packed better.

central location has issues
loud traffichot room
the room was really hot, the radiators were on full when i got there. i had to keep opening the window, but it was so noisy. the noise came from everywhere like traffic and people i think. i did not get a good nights sleep because of this. i think families should ask for a room at the back.

The room lacked a working light above the sink. i noticed the mirror had a switch, but it did not work. also, there was no wifi available. I wasn't informed about it.

i really liked how clean the room was, everything looked really tidy. staff members were friendly and cute. i loved the steak i ordered from blocks restaurant, it was delicious. the bar had games.
i noticed that the room did not have shelves or drawers! i had to keep my clothes in my suitcase on the floor. it was awkward .

the location is perfect, it's central to the town. car parking is available opposite the hotel, costing £6.20 for 24 hours! this location allowed convenient access to nearby cafes.

the room decor had neutral colours with a modern style, i found it in keeping with the age of the building. my room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. lots of natural lighting filled the room.

The staff was lovely. They gave a warm welcome. the breakfast menu was varied, and the ingredients seemed good quality, which i liked.
the floors felt uneven due to the building's age! there were small steps, and some doorways were awkward. there was no mirror in the bedroom, so i couldn't see to blow-dry my hair because there wasn't a socket near the bathroom.
