The pre-registration was very organized, i easily completed a self check in and the breakfast ordering system worked fine. The room was notably super clean and well kept. the lounge area provided a space for relaxation, and the thoughtful addition of homemade cake was appreciated. i definitely recommend this place.
i felt the car parking spaces were a little dangerous with a long drop on the other side.

A pleasant guest lounge exists. parking is available free. i think this is a mountain view hotel. It benefits from mountain views. there is a guest lounge there too!

the guest house offers a central location near a pub, easily reached by walking. several hiking trails can be accessed directly from the location. it's a doable walk to a town.

The room was clean. a fridge was available in the room. the shower was lovely and hot. Toiletries were provided. good tea and coffee options existed in the room too!

my single room had a good sized bathroom and a powerful shower. it felt super clean. i found a great selection of teas, coffees and hot chocolate. the lounge room area offered views over skiddaw.
the self check in and out felt unwelcoming, as i was on my own. i think the cooked breakfast could have been better. i felt the cost was expensive for what was offered, but single rooms always cost quite a lot.

the breakfast was really good. i especially enjoyed the freshly cooked options with very good produce. homemade cake was available in the lounge. fresh milk was also provided for tea.
i found the parking spots quite challenging. some spots had a significant drop on one side, it felt a bit dangerous. also, the self check-in felt impersonal.
