generous room sizecastle viewhelpful staff
The size of the beautiful room was generous. I had ample space to place my luggage even with an extra bed. I enjoyed the castle and lake view from the terrace. The staff at the front desk were very helpful.
The online photos make the hotel look more secluded on the lake. It is not that isolated.

The hotel has lovely views and it was lovely. The food was excellent. The pool and saunas are MORE than adequate.
The staff seemed unfriendly. I felt UNaccommodated. The hotel does not clean your room unless you stay four nights or more. I found BEES infesting the hotel and FLIES, so i could only eat and drink outside.

The location proved ideal for exploring. i found it convenient being close to the castles and the lake. the breakfast selection offered a great variety. I could always find something i liked.
i noticed the room wasn't as clean as expected on arrival. the bed wasn't properly made, and i saw some hairs on the bed sheets! it was not the standard i anticipated, considering the price per night. the parking was also quite a distance from the hotel, made carrying luggage a hassle.

The location IS perfect for visiting the castles and enjoying the lake area. Our room faced Neuschwanstein, a amazing view I'll always remember. Breakfast offered many options.
Our room lacked daily cleaning. A disappointing oversight given the hotel's reputation. I found this inconsistent with the otherwise excellent facilities.

The check-in staff were friendly and quite helpful, especially with directions. The bar service was quick. I appreciated the assistance offered, it. The service deserves recognition.

The breakfast buffet provided a generous variety, including something for everyone. The dinner menu had some unique courses. SOME dishes were challenging for younger palates, but the service was excellent overall.

The hotel's location allows for easy access to Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. A walk to Neuschwanstein takes around 45 minutes, and Hohenschwangau is about 30 minutes away. This proximity made sightseeing convenient.

The location was acceptable providing easy access to nearby attractions.
The room I booked a Beautiful Room wasn't as advertised I was very disappointed with the side view overlooking a car park. I also was not told I needed a dinner reservation and therefore I was seated in an inferior part of the restaurant it was very upsetting.
