The staff demonstrated really good recall of personal preferences. The rooms were clean and well serviced. I found the location on the high street super convenient. I appreciated convenient parking behind the hotel.

I prebooked a table in the Oak Room and received a warm greeting. The charming, attentive staff provided seamless, unintrusive service. The comprehensive choice of wines was enjoyable. The ambiance was good. The food was excellent.

i stayed for a few nights and found convenient parking nearby at the bus station. it included a 6-day parking permit for about £27 (quite a deal!). the hotel had professional staff. fresh flowers in the room and daily homemade biscuits created a special, cute touch.

this is an area where i think the hotel could enhance the guest experience.

The breakfast was plentiful. Freshly cooked food was available with a lot of choice. The croissants from their own bakery were AMAZING!!! I also enjoyed the two course set lunch. It was excellent and very tasty.

I found the mattress soft. It did not meet my needs. The car park is small. Reserving a space was very EXPENSIVE. We were not offered water. A wine menu was also missing.
