charming stay, minor hiccup
cute staff lovely bath evening meal reception staff
The staff was cute, especially the young man who helped with my bags! he even got me lovely bath bombs. i loved that the hotel was next door to bills. I had an evening meal there. the reception staff were very helpful, i must say.
My room was quite cold. I only had an electric heater to use. the heating was inadequate. but it was a very very slight issue.

A Charming Stay in a Historic Setting
large room great amenity perfect location
My large room included great amenities. The location on the High Street proved perfect. It was a short walk to the train station and nearby parking. The foyer offered beautiful Christmas decorations.
The room lacked a mini fridge, which would have been useful for keeping drinks cool.

Staff members were cute and helpful. They showed great politeness and attentiveness. Their assistance greatly enhanced my experience at the hotel.

spacious room convenient location cozy seating area faulty iron dusty cobwebs negligent staff
The room was spacious. I appreciated that it had a sitting area. The location proved very convenient. It was in the middle of the High Street.
Black stuff came out when I tried to use the iron. Therefore, I could not use it. I observed dusty cobwebs in the bathroom. The staff did not clean or inspect the iron, even though I left it out.
