the location was acceptable.
The room above had very creaky floorboards. It was very noisy. reception on arrival was abrupt, not speaking to another staff member until checkout after three nights. the atmosphere was not very inviting.

the hotel room was super clean! it was also in a very quiet part of the building. onsite parking is free, a valuable convenience. the location is excellent, a short walk to the town centre shops.
i noticed very slight creaking in the floorboards above.

the breakfast included poached eggs prepared perfectly! i also had the yorkshire breakfast, a very filling start to the day. limited options for breakfast were available, but the selections were well-prepared.

The building itself seemed well kept, I suppose.
The bed was NOT comfortable. It dipped right in the middle, and it was like two singles shoved together. I paid extra for what was supposed to be a kingsize bed, so that's just great.

I enjoyed the easy walk to the town center, taking only about ten minutes at a relaxed pace. The staff were super accommodating, and the breakfast was lovely..
Honestly, there wasn't a single thing that bothered me . Everything was great!

The room was clean and included a bath. That was great. breakfast had sufficient selection. the staff were friendly and helpful .
