the newly refurbished hotel felt first class the room presented a very high standard it was immaculate the roast dinner ranked among the best i have ever eaten in a hotel it offered plenty of high quality food at really good value. breakfast featured a full irish with great ingredients cooked just right the waitress was super friendly and efficient checking on us repeatedly to ensure we were happy

the budget twin room seemed a tad neglected. one of the bedside lamps was missing a bulb i thought that was considerate the dim lighting created an ambiance of accidental frugality. also the shower temperature did fluctuate wildly going from lukewarm to scalding in seconds it added a certain element of danger to my morning routine i suppose
