wonderful stay near the fields

i attended a family wedding and booked this accommodation. the double room overlooked the fields. the bed was comfy. breakfast was served around 7.45, it set me up for the journey home.

A Comfortable Stay Near Glasgow

The beds proved very comfortable, a welcome relief after a long day! Parking was conveniently close to the room, I did not have to walk far with my luggage. The full Scottish breakfast included juice, tea, coffee, and a selection of cereals. I appreciated the substantial start to my day.
I found the entrance for check-in slightly unclear, it looked like a back door.

There is space outside to wander about a little! It's worth mentioning there is ease of access to the hotel, I found it very simple and straightforward. This made coming and going very convenient.

The people were very helpful and cute. I found their assistance invaluable. Despite my late arrival for the night, check-in presented no issues and communication with staff was easy. I really appreciated that!

Breakfast was delicious and satisfying. I especially enjoyed the perfectly cooked full Scottish breakfast. The breakfast service involved no fuss. Everything was simple and efficient! The quality of the ingredients was apparent.

i was able to order my breakfast time upon arrival. i ordered a cooked breakfast from an extensive list and also had cereal, fruit, and yoghurt available. the bedroom was large and included a double bed and two singles in the same room. i appreciated the ample wardrobe storage including hangers to put clothes on.
The bedding seemed a bit outdated and the pillows were very hard. They could use an upgrade. unfortunately, the flat pillows made it difficult to sleep comfortably.

there is ample parking available, a great benefit with vehicles. breakfast includes fruit, yoghurt, cereals, fresh fruit juice, and a cooked breakfast of my choice. rooms feature a kettle with tea, coffee, and biscuits.

the location is quiet and set in the countryside, very peaceful! this location is also a good point to access the motorway for north or southbound travel. the hotel offers good views over the surrounding fields.

the breakfast met all my expectations with a variety of options available. the staff and owner are helpful and considerate, which i definitely appreciate. the big bathroom included modern fittings and a good shower.

Some Issues with This Stay

The room had a noticeable issue. I heard every single footstep from above. It made for a restless night. The breakfast was predetermined at check-in, which I found inflexible. I prefer to decide in the morning, not upon arrival. I also found the bacon way too salty, even for a salt lover.
