quiet location helpful staff excellent shower
The hotel location worked. I was able to walk to the tram and bus stations easily. My room was quiet. It gave me access into the city within fifteen minutes. The staff helped me very well and were polite. Breakfast had great items. The shower pressure was excellent.

superb stay
beautiful building helpful staff spacious room
the building is beautiful. i noticed the georgian library. the room included a nice sofa. the breakfast included many cooked options, it was AMAZING!!! the staff were helpful. the staff ensured guest comfort. i liked the location. it was not far from key attractions and the station.
my shower was difficult to regulate. it was hard to keep on a constant temperature in the morning.

dirty carpet blocked drain
the breakfast was good and had many options to choose from.
i found a significant issue with the room's cleanliness the carpet was full of dog hair upon arrival it was clear it had not been vacuumed thoroughly i also discovered that the bathroom drain was almost completely blocked. this made showering unpleasant and inconvenient

good location helpful receptionist regular showerhead
the location was good to the city. the receptionist assisted me with switching rooms, because my original shower was just a waterfall type. the service was good, the changed room had a regular showerhead.
the hotel lift wasnt working so i had to carry luggage to the second floor.

interior decoration plentiful options bad attitude damp quality
The hotel displayed gorgeous interior decoration. Breakfast provided plentiful options. It certainly accommodated most preferences. The area looked quiet. And the pleasant neighborhood was near Water of Leith Walkway.
I arrived early, around 12 noon. The attitude at reception was unwelcoming. The room felt quite smelly, possessing a damp quality.

charming stay!
hotel cleanliness historical aspect amazing view fresh breakfast
I really loved how clean the hotel was. it seemed like staying in a part of the area's history. there was history available about the building and this enriched my experience. the view from my bedroom window looked over dean village. It was amazing. breakfast tasted quite fresh.
the windows were really filthy. i thought that the room definitely needed an upgrade.

the double room included a large bathtub. it also featured a good shower with reliable hot water. a very comfy bed ensured a restful night, and i loved the view.

the hotel enjoys a fantastic location! the johnny walker experience is only ten minutes away by foot. dean village is also a mere ten minutes away in the opposite direction. it was very easy to get around.
