a romantic canal-side retreat

canal views convenient water taxi plentiful breakfast

the hotel boasts its own little wharf right on the canal it was lovely to sit there and watch gondolas drift past our room provided beautiful canal views the convenience of a water taxi directly to the hotel's dock was a significant plus with luggage breakfast was plentiful and delicious. the staff were cute and always ready to help with any needs that arose.

the old-style bedding raised concerns about cleanliness i noticed a hair on my bed upon arrival this could use some attention

convenient location polite staff breakfast choice small room ineffective air conditioning limited space

the location is very convenient. i could easily walk to many attractions from there. the staff were always polite and professional. breakfast was good, i had many choices.

my room was quite small for two people. it was perhaps better suited for one. the air conditioning in my room did not work very well. it was not very effective at cooling the room, disappointing.

Wonderful Hotel Experience

taxi boat helpful staff clean accommodation

The reception area has a special charm with private taxi boat access. The staff was cute, smiling, and helpful . I found the staff cute and eager to help me navigate the area. The accommodations had a classy and clean feel to them.

The mattress was firm. This resulted in some sleepless hours and a sore back. I think the cleaners should have reported this issue previously. The shower head over the bathtub also did not work well .

The hotel is within easy walking distance to many points of interest. The location is fantastic, you can walk everywhere. The hotel entrance is on the canal. This is quite magical.

Every staff member was cute, smiling, and ready to assist with any need. They assisted with transportation, and dinner reservations making the stay stress-free. Marco was especially attentive to all requests, he was very helpful.

weak ac uninspired breakfast

The AC barely worked. My room was hot, and I had trouble sleeping because of this. I asked about a fan, but they didn't have any available that night. the breakfast was pretty bad. There was the same uninspired stuff every morning, and the staff didn't seem to care much.

the staff were friendly at the front desk.

the air conditioning did not work well i was told there was ac in the room but it barely cooled the space and they had to put fans in there to compensate it was a bad advertisement.

I thought the breakfast was very repetitive. it was the same food every morning. i also had trouble with the shower. The water temperature was inconsistent and fluctuated a lot. it made it difficult to have a relaxing shower. it was either too hot or too cold. No happy medium.
