charming surprise
complimentary ginhot foodfriendly stafffree parking
i was delighted to find complimentary gin in the room, a really nice touch. breakfast included a selection of hot food and everything tasted fresh. the staff was very friendly and seemed happy to assist with anything. free parking was available making arrival and departure very easy.
I noticed a small damp patch in the room, perhaps due to guttering. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay.

The room had stylish and comfortable decor. some thoughtful extras. The bed was also very comfortable. toiletries were provided and felt luxurious. The fluffy gowns were a welcome addition. the bathroom was super clean and well-kept.

Breakfast featured a varied selection of british classics using good quality ingredients. attentive servers ensured that every need was catered to. The dining area was also beautifully arranged. fresh tea and coffee were readily available. I really liked the fine and flavorful dish options.

The room was decorated nicely and felt cosy. The bed was BIG and comfortable for the nights count. It included complimentary gin, this was a nice touch.
the lock on our door BROKE on our first night. I was unable to exit the room in the morning. I tried calling the reception but no one answered.

The staff were friendly and professional, and the location was lovely. We were very well looked after . The hotel is recommended if you want somewhere special to stay.
The room was not up to par with the photos I had seen (it was supposed to be a premium double). I noticed water damage above the window, and it all looked a bit tired. I also reminded me of i was a nuisance when getting drinks from the bar since they were closing early on Sunday. i could not even locate the garden area.

the breakfast was good (it included a full english option).
i had booked an evening meal several weeks in advance. upon arrival, i was told i had to order within 15 minutes. roast beef was unavailable, as were roast potatoes. the potatoes i received looked like burnt charcoal (clearly leftovers) and the vegetables was reheated.
