a lovely retreat
scenic location kind staff diverse breakfast nice dinner
the location seemed like a painting. the staff's kindness was a gentle breeze. breakfast had diverse choices and delicious tastes. our dinner at the restaurant was also nice.
The narrow lane leading to the place had some deep holes. We felt that was a very slight flaw.

our beautiful suite had period furniture and a private balcony. the bed felt comfortable. the room included opening windows overlooking lush greenery.

Reception provided a warm welcome. We felt instantly at ease. the staff were attentive to our needs, displaying genuine care. any requests or questions received prompt and friendly responses, demonstrating excellent attention, and care.

The grounds featured victorian garden ornaments adding character. quirky elements around the gardens heightened the charm. the hotel offered lift service to all floors, ensuring accessibility for all guests. We loved the premises and grounds.

The room was comfortable. The staff was attentive. The building and grounds were well maintained. I found the setting attractive.
The menu was difficult to read due to the small print. I also considered the food pricy. The access lane had deep holes.

The breakfast was lovely. It offered a good start to the day.
I found the access lane from the A4180 tricky. It was quite narrow. Several deep holes at the sides could damage a car. Passing a larger HGV vehicle was difficult because of new housing being constructed below the hotel.
