amazing breakfast car charging terrible noise no other rooms
The breakfast was REALLY excellent. It was the best I experienced in Scotland over a whole eight-day trip. There WAS also a car charging point at the hotel. This was a definite bonus.
One issue was the window next to the kitchen vent. The noise proved to be terrible. I also noticed there were no other rooms available.

a stay with some issues
damp smell inoperable window
I found some aspects of my stay quite disappointing. The room smelled noticeably of dampness. i could also see visible mould around the window, and the window wouldn't open. staff seemed aware of the issue but didn't offer a real solution.

friendly staff ample spaces
The staff were attentive to all needs. I found parking very convenient with ample spaces close to the entrance. The pub offered a lovely atmosphere for relaxation after a long day.
The temperature control in my room was not functioning correctly. I opened the window, yet the noise from outside interrupted my sleep.

Breakfast was really good, with a full Scottish breakfast provided. Fresh orange juice accompanied it and multiple rounds of toast were available. The restaurant is comfortable for families.

convenient location spacious room fresh breakfast good transport
The hotel's location provided easy access to nearby walking routes. I found three distinct paths right outside. breakfast was good (i especially liked the fresh orange juice!). the rooms were quite spacious and clean. i thought the transport links were convenient, with the station nearby.
the wifi service was somewhat limited.

the hotel boasts very good transport connections, due to its proximity to the station and the intercity bus stop right outside. a handy drop-off area is present at the front of reception. guests can enjoy great views from the front windows of the building.

i observed that the staff were polite and always available to answer questions. the staff seemed very friendly and helpful . they provided excellent service throughout the premises , demonstrating professionalism.

musty smell obscured view
the room felt smaller than expected it had a standard twin room layout but seemed cramped the bathroom had a persistent musty smell i couldn't shake off also the promised mountain view was mostly obscured by a large tree i found cobwebs in the corner near the window it was disappointing

Adequate Stay with Minor Issues
helpful staff convenient location musty smell lack of privacy
The staff was very helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate us, even when we arrived close to dinner service for a large group. I was able to walk to the West Highlands Way from the hotel. It was a nice feature.
Our bedroom had a musty smell. I suspect it may have previously been a smoking room. The double doors on the shower room offered little privacy. This was awkward.
