the exterior of the building was striking i also found the room itself to be spacious the breakfast included several options i found the food tasty the bathroom included toiletries which was convenient

The super king bed was very comfortable, and i found the room spacious! Staff provided a Warm welcome when i arrived, it set a positive tone. I appreciated the great food in the restaurant, it had a lovely ambience.
The room did not have wall decor, also fresh paint would improve its appearance. I thought this. I was surprised by this omission in such an otherwise GRAND hotel.

exterior charm, interior letdown
excellent exteriorscarce roomscottish breakfast
the building's exterior was excellent with great potential.
Unfortunately, the grandeur stopped there. the room felt quite scarce, as it was large but sparsely furnished with a pathetic tea and coffee setup. i also found the breakfast disappointing. It lacked scottish items despite haggis with on the dinner menu and no potato scones were available.
