Superb stay in a historic house

This hotel offered a complimentary packed lunch each day which was a nice touch. Breakfast included a wide array of options which all seemed freshly made. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The manager made it a point to greet guests. I especially enjoyed the evening meals. A new menu was each night.
The room was adjacent to a heavily trafficked door and corridor. This made it hard to relax due to constant noise

The location was wonderfully quiet. The rolling hills offered a peaceful escape right outside the hotel! all the staff were friendly and helpful. the manager, andy, always greeted us warmly. breakfast was fantastic with many fresh options.
my room was a bit dusty, though the shower was very clean. it wasn't a big deal, but i noticed it!

I enjoyed a great solo break after a difficult time. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Staff were friendly and so helpful throughout my stay. My room was immaculate, clean, and stylish. I also dined at the hotel.. the food was good. I admired the fine gardens and the awesome 17th-century architecture. The hotel featured immaculate decor.
My room was a little small, I felt as though I was in the corridor sometimes.

I found the breakfast selection to be quite lovely. You can select your own cooked breakfast. there were also delicious buffet options available. the provided packed lunch was a welcome surprise. the room was clean and quiet.
My room was close to a heavily used door. it was also close to a corridor and the room was very small. i felt as though i was in the corridor while i was in bed. I could hear everything everyone was saying.
