i found the play area and beer garden particularly beneficial for my kids. it had a nice view and a good kids menu. the steak i ordered was also of good quality. the location offers a bus stop right outside, very convenient.
i noticed some of the furniture in my converted stable room seemed quite dated. it was basic, and the bathroom looked to be of a slightly lower standard. i saw some minor mould in the bathroom.

Comfortable Stay

friendly staffgood menuenglish breakfastmissing hook
I found friendly staff and a good pub grub menu. The food was great and offered good value for money , including a wide selection. The full English breakfast was also very good.
I found no rack or hook to hang our coats in the room. We had to improvise using a cabinet and the bolt on the door.
Rooms

The accommodation included clean bedding. a comfortable bed. The room size was as expected for pub accommodation. We also had an ensuite bathroom. I appreciated this well appointed room.

Fantastic Stay!

pleasant gardenhelpful stafffresh linenpastries breakfast
The converted stable block was great I loved the pleasant garden area just outside. The staff were helpful I got tea bags and milk with the kettle. Bed linen was clean and fresh I also had ample power outlets and bedside lights.
My breakfast cost the same as a full English breakfast however it was only two pastries. I also did not get any decaf tea.
Facilities
9/10
I noticed they offer a cozy atmosphere and have good bus links. The grounds are well kept and quiet because the accommodation is separate from the main pub building which is great for a peaceful night. Guests are welcome to bring their dogs.
