wonderful stay!
large bedquality foodgood shower
my beautiful double room was very comfortable, it had a large bed. it had wonderful complimentary refreshment tray that included fresh milk and delicious biscuits. i was happy with the excellent quality food and the good shower.
beef was very thinly cut during sunday lunch, but tasty anyway.

the staff approached us with a proactive and friendly attitude . staff explained certain elements of the menu well. they even printed a special menu for people with food allergies.

the hotel has a bar area where you can relax near a roaring fire. the beds are comfortable. the bedrooms have a lovely view of the area.

the hotel is near interesting places to explore. there is a garden at the back with pigs in a sty. watching them amble around was somehow relaxing.

I adored the meticulous attention to detail shown by the manager at reception! The excellence customer service really added a special touch. I was very pleased with the staff's warm, friendly demeanor in such a beautiful place.

The room was super clean. The breakfast was delicious. A continental breakfast was provided for us the previous evening, as we wanted to leave early. A mini fridge kept it cool until required.
I noticed the coffee and cappuccino prices. They were very high at £8. Drinks were warm at best and very small. I believe portion sizes were ridiculously small.
