lovely stay with a full english!
friendly stafffantastic foodspacious roomattentive service
I really liked the food! we arrived early and had lunch. i chose the fish and chips. They were crisp and golden! my wife enjoyed the cheese baked potato with coleslaw and salad. breakfast was also great, especially the full english! the service matched the food quality, excellent! the staff were super attentive. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them.
the soundproofing wasn't great, and i could hear conversations from the room above, but it was bearable.

The breakfast had a good selection of cereal, fruit juice, and yogurt. the full english breakfast looked amazing! we also had dinner in the pub restaurant. The service was fantastic, and the food was delicious.

the location was really beautiful with great scenery and atmosphere. dog walks were available right on the doorsteps, i noticed. plus, ample parking was available, it was convenient.

our family room was spacious and comfortable, with great storage. it also had facilities for making hot drinks, a modern tv, and wifi. the room included towels with plenty of tea and coffee.

i found the staff very friendly from the start. the shower in the room was great. i appreciated that it connects to the bar and restaurant. nearby, there is a walk to a public access paddock with a fantastic view to enjoy a relaxing walk
i noticed a slight need for redecoration in some areas though it was generally cosy

the team provided a warm welcome and looked after my needs. the staff was accommodating with breakfast requests which adds to the positive experience. the bar service was excellent and very efficient.
