the staff was friendly and helpful, giving a map of the area and suggesting a route for seeing some of genoa. the breakfast was extra at 15 euros, but it felt well worth it. i even returned later and spent time in the lobby until our ship was ready to embark. our window faced the road, so it was a little noisy, but we always travel with a white noise machine so we were fine.
the shower was tiny! i hit myself twice. it was shockingly small and it was nothing like the bathroom pictures. generally the images are much better than the reality though the hotel is rather dated.
