lovely stafffree accessperfect location
I found the staff particularly lovely. i also enjoyed the free access to the castle grounds. i appreciated the atmosphere throughout the hotel and restaurant. It was perfect for a leisurely walk nearby

excellent breakfast
the breakfast was excellent it set me up well for the day. my room included a walk in shower in the birchwood house. the roast beef and yorkshire pudding sunday evening meal with vegetables was also really good.

The staff were very friendly and efficient! They created the impression it was a happy place. The super king-sized bed was a great bonus, I rested well! The restaurant service stood out, I found the food at dinner to be very good.
I encountered an issue with car parking. Every spot was taken upon arrival. I felt that it was not good. A small inconvenience to an otherwise lovely stay.

dusty roomburnt toast
the room assigned was very disappointing, I noticed cracks in the walls. the room was also dusty. breakfast took a LONG time, and the toast was burnt, really frustrating.
