small roommissing towel
The television did not function in my room. Attempts to fix it were unsuccessful. My room felt quite small. The bedside table was also very small. Another one should be on the other side of the bed. The bathroom had only one hand towel which was not enough.

dinner was delicious i thought it was one of the best i had during my trip in scotland. the breakfast was also very good. i stayed in the bunk house which was super clean and cozy separate from the main building.
the tv in the room didn't work even after some attempts to fix it so i gave up on it.

the location was a highlight during my trip around the nc 500 route and i thought it made it a great choice. parking felt okay all time which was a nice reassurance for me i felt comfortable knowing my vehicle was secure .

the room had a fox theme , made it very charming and unique and i enjoyed the view it offered. the view of the surrounding countryside included sheep grazing i found it peaceful and relaxing. it was also very spacious and comfortable overall.

staff members welcomed me warmly upon my arrival at the lodge and i appreciated this. i was promptly shown to my room and they were helpful when settling in. it seemed like a family run hotel that had a personal touch and feel.

the hotel had practical utility i noted ample parking and a secluded garden around it. i met other guests in a common lounge i thought it had a cosy fireplace and big leather sofas. the dining room had large windows as well.

okay, but some issues need addressing
perfect locationmalfunctioning televisioninsufficient towels
the location worked well for exploring the area.
The television didn't work during my entire stay, even after staff tried to fix it. the room felt cramped. the bathroom had only one hand towel. A second one would have been useful.

underwhelming stay
cramped roommissing toiletries
The room, the "standard double room", felt really cramped. trying to move around with luggage was a nightmare. also, the promised toiletries were missing. I had to ask twice to get a bar of soap. that isnt good enough in my view.
