I found the beds were very comfy. The bedding looked pretty and the bathrooms had good appointments.
I was disappointed. The room was a short walk away from the main hotel. It felt a little basic and I noticed spiders' webs in the bathroom rafters. They need a vacuum there.

helpful stafffriendly staffgood foodsoulless roomhigh pricepoor lighting
The staff were very helpful and friendly. the food was good, particularly the evening meal and breakfast. good safe parking was available. This ticked all the major boxes for me. the water was hot, and the pressure was very good.
The bar was disappointing. the room was bleak and soulless. The drinks were at london prices. lighting needs upgrading to lend it some atmosphere. i sat at a table by the door, so people walked past all evening.
