The staff was very helpful. One staff member, in particular, was super friendly. The food was excellent. I enjoyed haggis to start with and then sea bass. The hotel put balloons on the bed. This was a nice touch for the occasion.

Wonderful Stay with Amazing Views

The River Orchy View room was designed well for walkers, it had a large entry for drying clothes. A huge sliding glass door offered a wonderful view (just as advertised). I arrived early enough to have a late lunch. It exceeded my expectations, as did dinner and breakfast.
The room was quite warm, so I was glad a fan was provided. Due to the midges, I could not open the windows (this was a minor inconvenience).

The hotel sources good local ingredients, a lot of care and attention clearly went into this. There was a very good choice of wines and whisky on offer (the whisky selection was extensive). The breakfast was great with cook-to-order choices.

The room felt almost like being outside in quiet nature if the door was open. The annex rooms were nice and clean. Each room has its own front door and sliding back door onto a decking.

Staff were really helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The service was rapid and helpful (I appreciated their quick responses). I was welcomed warmly from reception to the bar to the restaurant.

The RIVER view room was perfect for my one night stay. Staff was kind and very helpful. The food was indeed delicious.
The room lacked a doormat because it had a door straight from outside. It was hard to keep the floor clean. The shower was warm, NOT hot, a practical space but lacking charm.

i stayed one night here , but i was disappointed with the small room. i was also not happy there was no proper drying room. the main heating was not on in the garden room when i arrived.
