broken tapuncomfortable sofas
I stayed in The Larches lodge and found several issues that need addressing. The kitchen tap was broken. It dripped constantly. Some floor tiles were also broken. The sofas had plywood under the cushions (I found this unacceptable) and proved very uncomfortable. I will not be returning soon because of these issues.

a mixed experience at the lodges

peaceful locationmalfunctioning jetslow shower pressure
the location was peaceful enough.
The hot tub jets malfunctioned so water sprayed everywhere. the water level dropped quickly too. i also found that the shower pressure was very low. More water came out of the pipe rather than the shower head.

the hot tub was ready upon our arrival and impeccably clean. chestnut lodge offered ultimate privacy throughout the stay. the veranda became a favorite spot.. we would often enjoy the peaceful mornings and evenings. we appreciated the provided coffee and biscuits.
the wifi signal experienced intermittent drops, a minor inconvenience.
