enchanting stay in a royal palace
fresh pastries helpful receptionist amazing gardens
i found the breakfast buffet very nice. i especially enjoyed the variety of fresh pastries available each morning. the gardens are out of this world. the young woman working at the reception desk was helpful (she gave me great recommendations for hiking trails).
i found some of the furnishings showed slight signs of wear.

our romantic double room featured elegant decor with mahogany wood furniture. the linen was very nice. the beds were comfortable and ensured restful sleep.

the service was very attentive and friendly. ana, the front office clerk, was marvelous. the presentation of the history of the building when i checked in, i thought, was so interesting.

A Step Back in Time
hiking trails helpful staff gluten intolerances delicious food
The surrounding forest provided excellent hiking trails. I really enjoyed the opportunity for long walks. Staff were helpful during a power cut. The restaurant accommodated gluten intolerances well. The food was delicious too.

The room included a large comfortable bed. I found the pillows to be soft. There was a small seating area with two chairs and a table. The bathroom had a shower and a bathtub. I liked it
