The building is fabulous , and the garden is fine.
The garden lodge room was very dated and the decor was tired. Breakfast was poor . The fresh fruit selection was only melon and pineapple. The staff member serving breakfast was alone in handling tea, coffee and cooked items.

I found the staff friendly offering smiles and assistance whenever needed. The grounds feature fabulous gardens that inspired peaceful walks. The hotel has a unique atmosphere with the building itself a marvel to explore.
I found some parts of the hotel appear worn needing refurbishment which slightly detracts from its overall splendor. The need for attention to detail in certain areas is apparent. I believe addressing these minor flaws will restore its full potential.

The gardens were fine, and i enjoyed the circular walk. The car park space was excellent. My room, a double room main house, was comfortable and well presented. I found the grounds amazing, especially with the redwood trees.
The window in MY room didn't shut properly. The hotel needs some attention.

The Library bar had excellent service, and staff were friendly. Breakfast and dinner were both good, THOUGH portions seemed a bit too large. The hotel is excellent, standing above and beyond with lovely woodland areas.

The location provides seclusion i like. The grounds are fine, with redwood trees and nice walks through gardens. The hotel is near neurological hospital.

The staff are polite. ALL were friendly and accommodating. House keeping was the best ever, and everything was perfect. The young bartender was professional and perfect, giving a lovely class service.
