charming stay!

family restaurant fresh ingredients warm welcome tasty breakfast
i was charmed by the family restaurant aspect, using fresh local ingredients. the hosts offered a warm welcome. the local trout dish was very good. breakfast was tasty and made to order (i had cereal).
the mattress seemed a little worn.

my beautiful double room had nice light. the bed was very comfortable. i slept very well and enjoyed the cosy lounge area near my room. the room was sufficient and large enough.

i enjoyed the really good breakfast. the chef-owners prepared beautiful food. they work with expertise from michelin star restaurants (excellent!). everything was freshly made and delicious.

Amazing Food and Hospitality, I Can't Wait to Return!

house interior friendly owner sunny garden
I enjoyed the house interior design. The owners friendliness was something else! The breakfast was the best breakfast during my trip. I also enjoyed the sunny beer garden!
The room I stayed in was very cold. The radiator never heated up the room properly. I did appreciate the portable heater the owner supplied though.

genuine warmth excellent food bathroom maintenance radiator heating
the food at the hotel was really excellent! the hosts showed genuine warmth and hospitality (i reminded me of i was home).
the bathroom needed some tlc. the radiator in my room never heated properly, even when turned up.

The room featured a large bed, a great feature. The hotel breakfast included freshly prepared options to order. It had cereal, varied jams, and juice. I also found the staff were nice and friendly.
The bathroom requires a bit maintenance, especially regarding caulking in the shower.

very nice hosts scrumptious food beautiful decor independent shops
Lesley and josh were very nice hosts. They provided unparalleled service. josh is a chef. His food was scrumptious. the hotel has character with beautiful decor. independent shops are nearby, including an award winning bakery.
the room was slightly cold, and i noticed the radiator was not fully heating it, a portable heater helped somewhat.
