charming getaway!
warm welcome clean room easy access
i received a warm welcome from the staff upon arrival. my room was fresh, clean, and tidy, which i certainly appreciated. the location allowed easy access to nearby amenities (plus travel to wells and glastonbury!).
the windows didn't shut correctly in my room, which i found a little bothersome. i appreciate it is an older hotel. some quick fixes would really help the experience.

the staff were lovely and helpful throughout my stay. i received prompt attention at the front desk. the restaurant staff was efficient. any questions or requests were handled swiftly and with a smile.

i ate in the restaurant one night and the food presentation was amazing. i found a good choice of dishes on the menu. the portion sizes were also just right for me (i did not leave hungry!).

good parking was available throughout my stay, which reduced my stress. the pub had indoor and outdoor seating available. the wifi signal was strong in all areas of the hotel that i visited.

my room had complimentary nuts, sweets, and water which was a nice touch (appreciated!). the bathroom was spacious and clean. fresh towels were provided daily by housekeeping staff.

The food presentation was AMAZING!!! I ate in the restaurant. There was a good choice of food, and the portion sizes were great. The staff was friendly and polite, and.
The bed wasn't very comfortable, and the bathroom was shabby with a wet rotting bath panel.

The hotel's position is great. It is around a 10-minute walk from all the attractions and the many pubs and restaurants. It is an ideal location, close to everything.

The staff were very helpful. They were also friendly, and service-oriented. I would definitely stay again if I were in the area! The general manager is particularly cute.

hardworking staff comfortable room
The staff welcomed me warmly. dinner was lovely and breakfast was cooked to order. The room was comfortable. the staff are all very hardworking and efficient and the service they gave was wonderful.
The windows don't shut correctly. This needs work or secondary glazing, i think.
