amazing stay!
great location resident peacock cooked eggs local breads
i loved how close i was to everything. the location meant shops and restaurants were a short walk away. breakfast each morning had awesome local breads, pastries. plus, eggs were cooked to order, just how i wanted! i also enjoyed strolling round the pretty grounds and spotting oscar, the resident peacock.
the taxi had trouble finding the place due to one-way roads. it meant i had to drag my suitcases down a steep hill. it would be useful if the hotel provided better directions on their website.

spacious grounds cute room kind staff late breakfast no wifi limited access
the hotel grounds are spacious. they are peaceful. surrounded by nature, and this creates amazing views in every direction. my room was very cute and homey. it felt more like a retreat. the staff were kind and cute (i felt really taken care of).
i was told breakfast was at 9am. i asked for an earlier breakfast because i had to leave at 8:30am. i was told this wasn't possible. i also had no wifi access. it wasn't working.

the staff was very friendly! the hotel had safe parking behind gates. i found the breakfast to be lovely.
initial access was difficult to arrange. clearly nobody was manning the front desk! this was a continued issue throughout my stay. check out was weird, nobody was at the desk, so i called them and was told to just drop the key.
