well managed inndismissive receptionroad noise
the inn is quite well managed.
i booked one room but received another upon arrival.. the lady at reception seemed dismissive about it. the road-facing room i received had considerable noise from the restaurant below until quite late.

the room was small. there weren't any FULL-size drawers. i had to hang clothes on wooden pegs on the wall. THIS was not convenient.

I enjoyed the comfy beds. The restaurant offered a lovely service. The team coped well with our group of eight. I recommend a stay at this hotel. The staff are lovely, the food is fantastic, and the accommodation is perfect.

The hotel is situated in a village location. It is quiet and peaceful! near Lydford Gorge, it offers convenient access. I walked to the gorge without problems.

The room had all the facilities I needed. It was clean. Fresh milk arrived outside the door each morning. Housekeeping left treats of shortbread and fudge. It was great.

The pub itself is beautiful. The hotel offers gardens. The pub is 500 years old, and it is very well-kept. It also provides really good food. The value for money is excellent.
