the staff were friendly and professional i received a full explanation of the facilities. my room had loads of space and included a comfy bed. the bathroom was luxurious and very quiet.
breakfast started too late at 08:30 and checkout was 10am this did not allow much time after breakfast. breakfast was an expensive extra and it included only half a mushroom and one slice of toast. nobody offered more toast or tea and nobody asked if everything was okay.

i got a room 30 minutes early, including a full tour of all amenities. the staff was professional. the room had a cafetiere and ground coffee. room 5 had lots of space. the ensuite bathroom had a walk-in shower (it was excellent).
delivery drivers started quite early, so i did not get much sleep.

the location by the river proved very relaxing the outdoor beer garden was a real bonus. i found parking at the hotel very helpful the staff reserved a space for me. my room included an ensuite with a walk-in shower plus a heated towel rail.
access to guest rooms involves stairs only no lift is available.

the room had great views of the harbour. the staff were very helpful and relaxed and they still attended to our needs. i enjoyed a very good meal in the restaurant the first night.
i experienced some noise at 4.30am from delivery drivers. deliveries continued until about 6.30am. i did not get much sleep for those two hours.

the breakfast had a good value as i could have whatever i wanted.
the room seemed a bit tired. the basin had a crack, not ideal. there was only one bedside table given the room's small size, and the light switches were hard to reach.

the room was clean and cute with good quality linen and towels the river location was near high street it was convenient i liked having on-site parking reserved in advance breakfast service was great it was a pleasant start to the day i would return for another stay.
the room was warm and i could not locate a thermostat noisy deliveries began quite early it disrupted sleep
