lovely countryside escape
cute staff charming decor superb menu fresh ingredient
i found the staff very cute. the decor felt charming. the tasting menu was superb. it included local ingredients that tasted so fresh and delicious.
I twice emailed the hotel and received an automated message saying they were busy. I never got a response.

excellent value high standard snooty hostess table service
the 3 course lunch was an excellent value. our server named matt was very professional in the garden room. the food was cooked to a very high standard and all tables was full for lunch.
the hostess was snooty when we arrived and i asked about a drink on the terrace. she said it was table service. my husband asked for another beer and she said condescendingly "i'll send the waiter over".

the room included complimentary biscuits and bottled water, very welcome. the room had a large window (i liked that) overlooking the grounds. the bed was very comfortable and had high-quality linens.
The bathroom amenities were quite basic. I would have liked more luxurious options.

a dream stay, almost perfect
superior king lovely decor magnificent view
the room it felt large. it was a superior king room with lovely decor i could really enjoy. there was a magnificent view to admire. the bed was very comfy i seemed like i was floating.
the staff in the restaurant could have know the dishes better.
