rushed service extra charge
The breakfast was excellent. It had a great variety of options.
The service felt rushed, I think. The waitress seemed annoyed I didn't immediately go to the dining room. I also didn't appreciate the extra charge I got for swapping out the sweet potatoes. I don't like them, you see.

historical charm and great food
vintage feel comfy beds hotel car park french cuisine
The room had a distinct vintage feel, very much in line with the hotel's theme. i appreciated the comfy beds. They ensured a restful sleep after a long day of travel. i was able to park my car easily in the hotel car park, a relief. the dinner i had was delicious, showcasing classic french cuisine.
the breakfast was a bit expensive, especially considering the limited options that were available. i felt it didn't quite meet the expectations set by the rest of my stay

cute staff car park historical photos pleasant town
The staff was very cute. The car park accommodated my car easily. I noticed many historical photos of racing and sports cars. The town was also very pleasant with pretty shops nearby.
The restaurant across the road has a similar menu, BUT its food was slightly better.

Our themed room was named after a driver (it was the Jackie Stewart room!). The bathroom provided nice amenities and decor. The room provided a restful night.

musty smell dated bathroom
The room i booked did not meet expectations. there was a noticeable musty smell upon entry. the bathroom was quite dated, it needed an update. This was disappointing, we expected better for the price. i found it hard to relax with the unpleasant odor permeating the room.

Wonderful Stay with Excellent Amenities

Breakfast was a highlight each morning, and the dinner I had in the hotel was very nice. I enjoyed the swimming pool after a long day. It provided a relaxing way to cool off from the heat. The hotel's motor racing legacy added to the charm and provided an interesting historical aspect to my visit.
The Wi-Fi signal was occasionally weak in my room, but it was still usable most of the time.
