room assignment error poor soundproofing
the location was acceptable, close to many attractions.
the room i booked was not the room i received (it was supposed to have a sea view). it faced an alleyway. the lack of soundproofing meant i could hear street noise all night. the breakfast was very basic, nothing special.

harbor view convenient location friendly staff
my superior double room gave an excellent view of the harbor. the location proved convenient, with easy access to nearby shops. included meals, like the evening buffet, were beneficial. staff was generally attentive.
the room lacked any drawers or shelves for clothing storage, requiring me to live out of my suitcase. this was an inconvenience given the limited floor space. the kettle cord was too short to reach the plug.

convenient location with good food
large variety beautiful view
The included meals were a great perk, especially the breakfast. it had a large variety. i also enjoyed the sauna and steam room. It was nice they had those available. the room was warm, which i liked. it had a beautiful view of the dock.

great location friendly staff breakfast choice flickering light needed care no option
the location is great. the hotel overlooks the water. it is a short walk to the bus station and shopping. staff were friendly, that I appreciated. breakfast had a lot of choice, so everyone found something.
the evening meal had no option to change. bathroom light kept flickering. rooms needed more care.

mixed experience , issues with room cleanliness
dusty floors inadequate cleaning
the location was ideal , being central to everything.
the room was not well cleaned. there was dust in the corners throughout the hotel , not just in the room , but also on the floors and stairs. during my stay , no one made our beds , which is not what i expect from a four-star hotel.

dated room and underwhelming dinner
stained shower limited dinner
the room looked quite worn. the shower had stains at the bottom, and there wasn't much space for shower products. a partially used toilet roll was provided. dinner was a limited selection of basic dishes like spaghetti bolognese. it felt more like a hostel.
