splendid getaway

romantic inn pristine room divine breakfast attentive staff
This inn felt utterly romantic and pristine. breakfasts were divine, especially the porridge crowned with fruit. the adjacent restaurant surprised me. The cullen skink proved to be a culinary poem. the whisky selection at the bar included many options. staff attentiveness made our evenings good.
i only had small problems, the door lock needed a little practice.
Rooms

our double room was perfect, it included soft linens and fluffy towels. fresh flowers adorned the bedside table and a bottle of chilled water awaited us. the bathroom was modern with complimentary toiletries.
Facilities

the hotel provides a restaurant and a whisky bar, both of which added charm to our experience. the restaurant offers traditional scottish dishes. the whisky bar boasted an excellent array of single malts and blends, i enjoyed them a lot.

Fantastic Stay in Speyside

convenient pub modern layout good size local distilleries
The hotel has a pub downstairs, very convenient. I had lunch there one day. The fish and chips were a good size for the price. There was a modern layout with plenty of space in the bar. The hotel's location is great for visiting local distilleries.
The long-life milk portions provided in the room had a slightly strange taste.
Service
10/10
The staff members were friendly and helpful. They provided information about the area with smiles. Breakfast had many choices. The staff helped me make a perfect choice of whisky.

Acceptable stay overall

friendly staff helpful staff great breakfast great food loud music thin walls sleepless night
The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful, i must say. Breakfast was GREAT. I also had dinner in the restaurant one evening and the food was great TOO!!!
The music from the bar was so LOUD all day and night. I think i was in the room right above the bar. I could hear every word the singer sang, all night. I managed to get to sleep after midnight when it stopped. Extremely tired in the morning.

friendly staff included breakfast great location dated room uncomfy beds funny taste
the staff seemed very friendly. breakfast was included, and it was good. i walked to the glenfiddich distillery from here. the location was great.
the room i stayed in felt very dated. the single beds were not comfy. the milk portions had a funny taste, so the coffee tasted strange.
