a balanced stay
convenient location short walk good breakfast street noise blackout insufficiency window gap
the location was convenient for transport. the train station was a short walk. the room had everything i needed. breakfast offered a good selection.
the room faced the street and experienced noise at night. buses were a main source of disturbance. blackout measures were insufficient leaving a gap at the bottom of the window.

I was given a complimentary upgrade to the Grand Hotel Savoia. The location is very convenient near the central station. My room was clean with essential amenities. I found the beds to be particularly comfortable.
The tv in my room did not work properly. Many channels were unavailable for viewing. I suspect the issue was weather-related.

The staff was attentive and quick to address requests. They provided prompt assistance with luggage and directions. The check-in process was efficient, and i was given helpful information about local attractions.

the location is very convenient. it is close to the train station. i appreciated the cleanliness throughout the hotel. the staff were friendly and helpful.
i noticed some noise from outside. it was disruptive for sleeping one night.

broken air conditioning missing amenities
I encountered some issues i wasn't thrilled about. the air conditioning wasn't working properly despite me reporting it three times. staff attempted fixes, but none resolved the heat issue. I had to use a fan. they also didn't replenish coffee, creamer, sweeteners, or toilet paper. the hairdryer overheated after a few minutes. this fell short of expectations for a hotel of this supposed standard.
