a mixed experience
toilet lid unlocked doors
the food met MY EXPECTATIONS.
The toilets were not acceptable. Fecal matter looked on the toilet LID. doors did not lock PROPERLY. this proved unhygienic and inconvenient.

fantastic highland getaway!
fast wifi local ales
the staff greeted me with huge smiles. my room had super fast wifi perfect for streaming. the bar selection included several local ales, i tried a few! breakfast offered many choices, i felt spoiled.

highland hospitality at its best
helpful staff dedicated parking
the staff were very helpful and friendly throughout my stay the dedicated car park located right behind the hotel was convenient i found the room to be very clean tidy and decorated tastefully it really added to the overall ambience. the breakfast exceeded my expectations with local produce prepared perfectly it was a good start to each day.
i found the room to be a bit small even for one person this did impact my overall comfort the radiator was also broken , made the room quite cold it was manageable with the electric heater though the shower cubicle felt small to use as well.

the staff were always available and very attentive to my needs bar staff poured a beautiful beer and nora was great both behind bar and during breakfast service this highlights a commitment to professional standards.

the hotel provided a safe bike lockup which i valued greatly it gave me peace of mind knowing my equipment was secure furthermore the breakfast featured local produce perfectly prepared showcasing a dedication to quality.

friendly staff great location broken outlet broken handle
The staff was really friendly. The location is great in a very picturesque village. The room was also lovely. I found the breakfast good. It was not a buffet.
The WiFi did not work. The tv kept cutting out often. The outlets did not work, inconvenient. The door handles were broken, needing repair.

Comfortable Stay with Great Service
superb food tasty breakfast local beers homely atmosphere
The staff offered superb service and were always ready to help. The scottish breakfast featured fresh local ingredients and was very tasty. I found a great selection of drinks at the bar with some local beers. The hotel also provided a homely atmosphere that was enjoyed by both visitors and locals.
The toilet door was a little hard to close quietly.

The hotel is conveniently located near various attractions including slopes and lochs so it is easily accessible by car. This quieter location outside the main town allowed for a relaxing atmosphere while still providing convenient access.

I found the traditional scottish hotel to have a great atmosphere with excellent evening meals at the bar. The menu featured a superb selection of drinks including guest ales and local gin. The hotel offers a warm welcome and great service.

The breakfast proved excellent. Staff were friendly.
The room size was unacceptable. Mold grew in the bathroom. I found these conditions disappointing.
