underwhelming stay

the location was acceptable.
I found the pillows to be too thick and uncomfortable. It made for a bad night. drinks at the bar were also expensive. breakfast wasn't bad, but the food could have been hotter.

the staff was friendly enough, i suppose, greeting people with smiles and that stuff.
i booked a night here, what a mistake. the room looked so basic and terribly dirty too. there were stains on the bedding. mold covered the curtains. i didnt even bother eating at the hotel after that awful discovery.

grateful experience

spacious roomfluffy towelsnice toiletriesmany choices
the room was quite spacious. i found the large fluffy towels provided to be a plus. the toiletries were also very nice. the location worked well, i could walk to many places. the breakfast included many choices and was plentiful.
the tea tray in the room had only basic nescafe coffee and standard custard creams. it seemed a bit budget.
Service

the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. check-in was smooth and efficient. i really appreciated the team members' professionalism, made my arrival seamless and worry-free. the service was consistent.
Location

the hotel is near victoria station. it is also close to the arndale shopping centre, so it was easy to get to shops. it is situated in a quieter area, so the surrounding area did not get loud at night, made the surroundings peaceful.
Facilities

the hotel had a bath and a shower in the room. it also featured doors on the wardrobe, which i found very useful. the breakfast was adequate, with plenty of variety.
