a gem of a find, worth a visit!

this riad really is a hidden gem. when i walked through its grand door, i noticed a good aroma. i knew i was about to step into a classy place. patrice and his team are the best hosts, and they added nice touches such as drinks and cookies on arrival. fresh fruits by the pool. the breakfast has fresh fruits, pastries, yoghurts and eggs prepared how you like them. what a treat!
i did find the location down a very dark, empty street and it felt a little dangerous at night.

the riad includes a rooftop terrace with a jacuzzi and a spa, where guests enjoyed relaxing massages. there is also an indoor pool. these facilities added to the relaxing experience.

the hotel is near the souks. it is easy to get around to places mostly by walking. the main square is a short walk, then you can take a rickshaw if you want.

the breakfast was amazing with generous portions and varied options. it included fresh fruits, pastries, yoghurts, and eggs cooked to order. the breakfasts were served individually by the staff on the rooftop.

The breakfast was amazing with both sweet and savoury options. i especially enjoyed the homemade jams. the staff were friendly and helpful (always smiling!). the location was quite convenient. It was easy to get around from there.
the street to get to the riad felt quite dark at night. the room decor felt a bit dated. i found the water pressure in the shower to be somewhat weak (it was hard to wash my hair).

the breakfast had fresh fruits. pastries and eggs were cooked to order. we took them up on a hammam. the massage was one of the best i've ever had.
the water in the jacuzzi wasn't warm enough. the indoor swimming pool was cold. to use the jacuzzi, we had to ask personnel and our request seemed to bother them.

The location was perfect, not too far from the square. The bed was very nice.
The room was dirty and dark. ALL noises from the courtyard were audible. I found a lot of dust on the curtains.
